International analyst and banking speakers join IIIS line up

Suncorp and IDC added to the agenda for the Implementing Information Infrastructure Symposium (III)

IDC’s Benjamin Woo and Suncorp’s Ross Windsor have joined the line-up of speakers at the forthcoming Implementing Information Infrastructure Symposium (IIIS). The conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on August 2-3.

Program VP of Worldwide Storage Systems at IDC, Benjamin Woo, will lead a session on governance, risk and compliance in the Cloud, a presentation on Big Data – one of the hottest topics in IT - and will also host a panel discussion.

Senior Technology Architect at Suncorp, Ross Windsor, will address the subject of IT transformation in the enterprise.

Windsor will outline the business challenges that Suncorp faced that led it to undergo a major IT transformation including private clouds, desktop virtualisation and sustainability initiatives that have had a dramatic positive impact on Suncorp’s IT service delivery costs and performance.

These additions add to the line-up of industry thought leaders and experts, including vendors, integrators and channel partners. The symposium will also feature expert presentations, technology workshops and implementation guides, training sessions and a high-tech art technical demonstration laboratory.
