Gamers who have fond memories of 1994’s Theme Park by EA will be happy to hear about the Amusement Park DLC coming to SimCity.
The content pack lets players build and customise their own theme parks within their city in order to keep their Sims happy and in their cities longer.
In total, the DLC consists of nine rides, three entry gates and five concessions stands to place on the game map. There are both classic-themed rides and modern attractions, ranging from Ferris Wheels, roller coasters, go-kart tracks and more.
Along with the new items to be used in-game, the DLC introduces five new missions to play through. The gameplay in these missions is tailored for those players who want to master the Tourism city specialisation.
The DLC comes just as EA released Update 4.0 to SimCity, which came with a free new map, Edgewater Bay. The intention with this map is to let players plan out their theme parks on this new backdrop.
The Amusement Park content is available now as a digital download and retails for $9.99.
