Virgin Mobile has opened online-pre orders and announced pricing for Samsung's hotly anticipated Galaxy Note 3 smartphone, which officially goes on sale from Thursday, October 3.
The telco will sell both the 'Jet Black' and 'Classic White' variants of the Galaxy Note 3 on a total of six plans, ranging from an entry level $30 plan to the top $140 "irresistible" plan
The Galaxy Note 3 is priced as a premium smartphone and the hero offer appears to be a $2 monthly handset repayment on Virgin Mobile's $90 plan (a total of $92 per month) over 24 months.
The plan includes unlimited voice calls, unlimited SMS and MMS messages and 3GB of data per month.
Unlike Vodafone, Virgin Mobile will not bundle Samsung's new Galaxy Gear smartwatch with any of its Galaxy Note 3 plans.
The Galaxy Gear smartwatch is a "companion device" that will initially only work with the Galaxy Note 3 smartphone, and the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition tablet.
The Galaxy Note 3 is Samsung's third generation of the extra large Note smartphone range. It features a larger screen, 3GB of RAM, and has an upgraded camera compared to its predecessor.
However, it is thinner, lighter and faster than the current Galaxy Note II.
Virgin Mobile's full range of plans for the Galaxy Note 3 can be viewed below.
Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone will also sell the Galaxy Note 3 in Australia from October.
