Online retailer, Kogan.com, has announced that it's now offering thousands of men's and women's watches. In typical Kogan fashion, the company says it's staying ahead of the competition by delivering direct from the source to the consumer and cutting out the middleman.
Kogan says it can deliver watches cheaper than its competitors and that its prices are up to 85% off similar products at department stores. Thousands of models are already in stock and the company is focusing on big brand names such as Tag Heuer, Gucci, Armani, Tissot, Diesel, Nixon, Seiko, Casio and many more. Smart watches from Sony and Samsung are also available.
In describing the way traditional sellers might feel towards Kogan making a play for watches, founder and CEO, Ruslan Kogan, said the only critic he cares about is the consumer. “Whenever we enter a new industry, we invariably annoy a lot of the retailers who operate in it. Our business has a lot of critics, but there's only one critic we care about — our customers.
“Australians have been paying too much for watches — significant savings are available to the consumer versus traditional stores. We knew we could secure better prices for our customers, and we’ve done exactly that.
“Kogan.com now has a huge range of watches that will cater to all budgets and tastes. Dress watches, digital watches, smart watches, classics and modern designs, from the world’s best watchmakers, are all available at huge discounts. We’re also offering a range of Kogan brand watches including smart watches, GPS watches and heart-rate monitor watches.
“Watches have for a long time been seen as some of the most technologically advanced devices available in the world, so we’re thrilled to offer them to our community of smart shoppers,” Kogan said.
The full range of watches can be viewed at the Kogan Web site, including the range of smart watches.
