Foxtel's movie streaming service Presto halves its subscription price

All you can eat movies for $9.99 per month - no contract

Foxtel subsidiary Presto has announced it will halve the price of its video-on-demand subscription service to $9.99 a month as of Sunday, 17 August.

Subscribers to Presto can access Foxtel’s catalogue on movies on PCs and mobile devices on a month-by-month basis. The service has access to roughly one thousand movies from several notable Hollywood studios, in addition to granting subscribers access to Foxtel’s seven live movie channels.

Presto supported PCs and select Apple iPads when it launched in March, but since then it has added support for select Samsung tablets, Nexus tablets and Google's Chromecast.

Movies are streamed in standard 576i definition free from advertisements over cellular 3G connections or home Wi-Fi networks.
