Sony Australia is giving shoppers the chance to find some hush in the Christmas rush, by offering them the chance to borrow a pair of its cutting edge WH-1000XM2 noise-cancelling headphones as they battle through the crowds at Westfield Chatswood.
From Thursday December 14 to Sunday 17 December, visitors to the centre can pick up a pair of Sony WH-1000XM2 headphones from the Sony team located in Centre Court on level 3, then browse for Christmas presents in total peace, listening to their favourite music or simply using the noise-cancelling technology to tune out the stress of packed shops. Once their shopping is done, they then simply return their headsets to the Centre Court on their way out.
“Wearing my Sony noise-cancelling headphones whilst Christmas shopping is the perfect way to find some peace in crowded shops and dreaded long queues,” said Model and TV Presenter, Erin Holland. “I can turn up Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’ and fully relax as I pick up my pressies.”
Sony’s WH-1000XM2 headphones offer the very best in noise cancelling technology, combined with unique Ambient Sound control and a touch-controlled Quick Attention mode, meaning that shoppers can tune into important store announcements or chat to cashiers without taking them off.

Trial pairs of Sony WH-1000MX2 headphones will be available on a first come, first served basis from the Sony activation area in Westfield Chatswood’s Centre Court on Level 3, during the centre’s opening hours.
Shoppers must provide valid ID to Sony staff in order to borrow a pair, returning them as they leave the centre. Sony’s WH-1000XM2 headphones are also available to purchase from the Sony kiosk at Westfield Chatswood and online.
