Google's latest update to their Google Photos and Lens apps now allows users to identify the breed of a cat or dog simply by taking a photo of it.
Users can also use Google Photos to search through their photos by breed or emoji. To quickly and easily find photos of pets, users can label their cats or dogs and then search for them using terms such as “Oliver hat” or “Oliver park”.
Users can also use the cat or dog emojis to search, or use terms such as “pitbull” to rediscover photos of their pets.
Google Photos now allows users to create movies dedicated to their pets. On the Google Photos app, users simply have to go to the Assistant tab and click on the movie button. Then, if available, choose the Meow Movie or Doggie Movie option, select your pet and the app will compile the best photos of your pet, accompanied by pet-themed music.
