After the successful launch of Australia’s first blockchain university short course, Developing Blockchain Strategy, RMIT Online have announced the launch of two additional blockchain courses.
Accenture identified a skills gap in qualified blockchain professionals, prompting the partnership with RMIT Online to add Designing Blockchain Solutions, commencing 8th October, and Developing Blockchain Applications, commencing 12th November.
Designing Blockchain Solutions will support students to develop an understanding of distributed ledger technologies infrastructure on a more technical level without needing to have programming skills. Various blockchain platforms, including Ethereum and those within the Hyperledger project will be explored.
“Our first short course on blockchain, Developing Blockchain Strategy, sold out in 48 hours to students across the globe,” said Helen Souness, RMIT Online CEO.
“We’re excited to be pioneering these courses with our expert partners at Accenture and Stone & Chalk in upskilling and inspiring professionals to explore real-life applications of blockchain technology within their businesses.”
The courses are fully credentialed by RMIT University. Interested students should have a basic understanding of how distributed ledger technology works
Both courses will run for six weeks and cost from $1,200.
