While LG's rollable OLED might be the star of their CES showcase this year, the company's W7 hybrid smartwatch is also getting some love with LG Australia telling us that the wearable will come to Australia in limited quantities in 2019.
The LG Watch W7 runs on Google's WearOS platform and features an on-board Google Assistant, IP68 water resistance and a unique stainless steel design that incorporates mechanical hands that allow you to use it as a traditional watch when the battery does eventually run out.
The LG Watch W7 was released in overseas markets last year but LG have remained tight-lipped about Australian availability until now.
No word yet on where the pricing for the wearable might see it fit within the broader smartwatch landscape but the news that the LG's hybrid smartwatch will be coming to the Australian market is a nice surprise.
