Ricoh launches new digital copier

Ricoh has added a new digital copier to its range, launching the Aficio 650, which prints 65ppm.
Because the Aficio 650 is a digital copier, documents are scanned - enabling users to scan documents into the machine's memory whilst it is handling another job.
The copier handles a maximum paper capacity of 6600 sheets, but options include a 3000 sheet finisher, and a "copy kit" extension which provides the ability to hook up two Aficio 650 machines.
Dubbed "tandem copying", two Aficio 650s can be linked to create a high output copier offering 130ppm printing.
"Tandem copying offers flexibility for organisations that have periodic high volume copying requirements, but may also need two separate machines for less hectic times," offered Craig McCaffery, marketing director at Ricoh.
The Aficio 650 is priced at $26,200.
