Epson based colour proofing

Epson has partnered with Electronics for Imaging (EFI) and DuPont Colour Proofing to create the Epson Color Proofer 5000.
The product aims to produce inexpensive but accurate analogue colour proofs in-house, without having to go to film first.
The package combines an Epson Stylus Pro 5000 A3+ inkjet printer (six-colour ink system with 1440dpi resolution), a "Fiery" PostScript RIP server from EFI, and commercial Cromalin DesignerProof media, developed by Epson and DuPont.
The Epson Color Proofer 5000 comes with a 12-month on-site warranty, and will ship in June in NSW and Victoria (other states to follow) through Epson Authorised Graphics Arts dealers. For sales enquiries and delaer information, call (02) 9903 9000.
