Google publishes new Glass 'how to' video

Google has released a getting started video for its Glass wearable computer

Google has released a getting started video for its Google Glass wearable computer, demonstrating some of its basic interface features.

Published on the Project Glass official YouTube page overnight, the video is titled "Glass How-to: Getting Started" and is an introductory guide to the Glass product.

The short video demonstrates using the Google Glass touchpad, its timeline and shows how users share through the wearable computer. The video also shows how to adjust the Glass lens, and how to use the device's touchpad to scroll through the user interface.

A developer version of the Google Glass product was released last month, but it was only available for early adopters who applied through a Twitter and Google+ program called the Glass Explorer Program.

Glass is best described as a wearable computer with a head-mounted display. Google expects the device to go into mass market production by the end of 2013 with a retail price of under $1500.
