BlackBerry tease KEY2 smartphone

BlackBerry is gearing up to officially debut a follow-up to last year's BlackBerry KeyONE smartphone, with an official teaser video making its way online.

The video can be seen below, and gives a glimpse of what to expect from the phone.

Overall, the KEY2 looks like it'll be quite similar to the KEYONE in terms of design. However, it does look like the smartphone will offer a significant upgrade when it comes to the camera. The KEY2 appears to feature a dual-lens configuration, whereas the KEYONE relied on a single-lens setup.

A new app drawer shortcut key also appears to be on the cards.

Expect more fully-featured details about specs and so-on to emerge sooner rather than later.

According to the teaser, a full reveal for the BlackBerry KEY2 will take place on June 7th in New York.
