Computex 2018: QNAP refresh SMD NAS lineup with TS-x32XU Series

QNAP has announced the release of a new TS-x32XU rackmount NAS series, consisting of the 4-bay TS-432XU, 8-bay TS-832XU and 12-bay TS-1232XU.

“The dual 10GbE ports and single PCIe slot of the TS-x32XU series can meet demands of small businesses when they are investing in new IT infrastructure: high performance, high cost efficiency and ease of expansion,” said Joan Hsieh, Product Manager of QNAP

The TS-x32XU series inherits a lot of the classic exterior design and features of QNAP's existing TS-x31XU series but combines it with a new 64-bit Alpine AL-324 ARMv8 Cortex-A57 quad-core 1.7 GHz processor by Annapurna Labs.
