Vodafone drops NBN plan pricing

Vodafone has dropped the price of their high speed Vodafone NBN plan to $60 per month for new and existing customers.
“There has never been a better time to revaluate your broadband plan - to look for the most affordable way to get the speed you need,” said Ben McIntosh, Vodafones Chief Commercial Officer.
The price drop is combined with 4G back up, 30 day Network Satisfaction Guarantee and no lock-in contracts.
“Over 6 million Australians say they are unlikely to switch even though they know they can get a better deal. People are losing out on up to $480 of savings every year.”
“Our $58 nbn25 plan is outstanding value with nothing to pay up front. And to further reward our postpaid mobile customers, they can upgrade to our nbn50 plan for just a dollar more per month. 34% of Australians said they are dissatisfied with the speed of their traditional home internet. We agree. That’s why we no longer promote nbn12 and have introduced substantial discounts on our other Vodafone nbn plans,” added McIntosh.
All existing Vodafone customers will be proactively transitioned onto the new price points.
“We believe in offering great value for everybody, so if you are already a Vodafone nbn customer you won’t miss out on the savings,” said McIntosh.
Vodafone NBN will come in three plans. The Essential NBN, 25 tier, will be available for $58. The Essential+, 50 tier, will be available for $69 per month and the Premium, 100 tier, will be available for $89 per month.
