Huawei sweeten the deal by bundling the P30 Pro with Sonos

As has become the norm for most flagship smartphones, Huawei are looking to lure in early adopters for their P30 and P30 Pro by bundling it in with Sonos’ One smart speaker.

Valued at $299, it’s a unique hook that’s noticeably different in tone to the previous preorder bonuses like the Huawei FreeBuds. Even if you already own a Sonos speaker, you could (probably) always use more Sonos speakers.

In our review of the Sonos One, we said that “Whether or not you buy into Sonos' promise is entirely up to you. I wouldn’t necessarily go about replacing your existing Play:1 yet but if you’re looking to buy a smart-speaker, are happy to pay extra for better sound quality, happy to wait for the smarts to arrive later and - above all - trust that Sonos will deliver on their promises, then go right ahead.”

Huawei Australia confirmed to PC World that the bundled Sonos One will the more-recent refresh rather than the first-gen model.

The Huawei P30 and P30 Pro will go on pre-order on the 27^th of March and officially launch into Australia on the 14^th of April through Optus, Telstra, JB Hi-Fi, MobileCiti and Kogan at a recommended retail price of $1099 and $1599 respectively.
