This is one hell of a printer; it’s as simple as that! Five stars all the way – and how many times can you say that about modern technology.
Let’s rewind to the start. Before receiving the Brother MFC-L9570CDW, I was using a couple of HP3000 series multi-function printers. Whilst the Brother is a big unit - it’s nearly double the size of our current single HP3000 - it still fits into our work space nicely without being an overly large footprint.
So first plus for the Brother is…it fits in.
But that is just the beginning. When it came to performance, the difference was night and day. The Brother MFC-L9570CDW handled all the day-to-day tasks with ease. It didn’t even break a sweat and was capable of handling even more tasks. You really only need one MFC when you have one of these.
From my point of view there are several outstanding features: it is secure, can multi-task, has wireless connectivity and it’s efficient. My employees were able to complete several print and scan tasks simultaneously and quickly, increasing work efficiency – all while at their own workstations. That is what every manager wants.
On top of that, touch screen visibility and operation was easy. No wasting time trying to navigate the services for an hour before finally working out how to do something, and the user-manual is fairly straight forward. Thankfully you don’t need a PhD to operate the MFC-L9570CDW.
That is important! Our business prepares a lot of paperwork and documentation. Whether it be printing copious pages or transferring hardcopy to soft-copy and sending out to numerous recipients, the Brother MFC-L9570CDW handled each task with speed and ease. The minimal lag and buffering times are impressive with the capacity of the paper tray being more than adequate.
The next important box the Brother had to tick was print quality. It’s no good being able to print fast and multi-task if the end result is messy and unprofessional. Happily, the quality (full colour) is excellent. Whether it be scanning or printing out colour documents, graphs or charts, the results were impressive. Even photos have good colour representation. In fact, I would recommend the Brother for day-to-day use.
And it isn’t noisy! We have a lot of machinery being operated daily and the noise level from the Brother MFC-L9570CDW was neither intrusive nor loud. It has a quiet mode feature for anybody needing even lower noise levels.
So far so very good – ease of use, multi-functionality, quality printing and low noise levels, but in my business I have a need, the need for speed. The Brother delivered lightning quick monochrome printing and very quick colour printing. I was also impressed by the scanning speeds and quality of scans. And prints were quick to dry, there was no smearing and they were usable straight away.
Finally, just a word on those security features: My Company handles sensitive, confidential documents and I need to ensure business security protocols are met. The security features on the Brother MFC-L9570CDW definitely ensure peace of mind in this vital area.
The bottom line: the Brother MFC-L9570CDW has all the whiz-bang technology and security features necessary for a small business environment. Combined with its high speed, quality scanning, precision printing and multiple connectivity options, you have one heck of a multi-function machine.
