The Bottom Line

The road to Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8 has been an undeniably fraught one. Fortunately, at the end of that road lies what is easily one of, if not the, best smartphone Samsung have ever brought to market.

However, that commendation has to come tempered with the reality that the Note 8 is also one of the most expensive smartphone you can buy. Ultimately, whether or not it’s going to be worth that price-tag money is basically going to come down to the S-Pen. It’s the one feature that the Note has that can’t be aped - and if you plan on making use of it, there’s simply no substitute out there that even comes close.

Still, if you’re the kind of phablet power-user that the device is surely aimed towards appeasing - make no mistake - Samsung are back on track with the Note 8.
