The TomTom GO 1000 is one of the best-equipped GPS navigation devices on the market, making it ideal for those who use a sat nav every day. The user experience is slick, functional and very well designed. However, less frequent users will get better value out of cheaper units, and the included MyTomTom software currently seems a step below the previous iterations.
