The best smartphones launching in 2012
2012 has been another huge year for the mobile phone industry but it's certainly not over yet! There are a number of quality new smartphones on the way in the final few months of this year.
The biggest buzz seems to be around the Nokia Lumia 920. It could represent a last throw of the dice for Nokia as it attempts to gain traction at the top-end of the market. Along with the Lumia 920, the Nokia Lumia 820, HTC's Windows Phone 8X and Windows Phone 8X handsets and the Samsung ATIV S are some new Windows Phone 8 devices that are expected to hit the shelves before the end of 2012.
Not to be left out, Google's new Nexus handset is also expected to launch before the end of the year. Along with the as yet unannounced Nexus phone, Android is well served with upcoming releases like the HTC One X+, the Sony Xperia T, the Samsung Galaxy S III mini and the wacky ASUS Padfone 2.
