Sony Xperia Tablet S Android tablet (preview)

The Sony Tablet S, which incorporated a curved design that attempted to resemble a folded magazine, is one of the most distinctive tablets on the market. Sony has kept much of the same formula for its new Xperia Tablet S but has revamped the design and added some interesting new features.

Sony VAIO T Series (SVT13116FGS) Ultrabook

The Sony VAIO T Series is a 13.3in Ultrabook that has been designed to look good and offer lots of processing power in a thin chassis. It's based on an Intel Core i7-3517U CPU, which runs at 1.9GHz, and it's suitable not only for office work, but also for tougher tasks such as media encoding. Along with the fast CPU, you also get a very quick solid state drive and superb battery life.

Sony DSC-RX100 compact digital camera review

The Sony DSC-RX100 has surpassed all our expectations for what a compact digital camera can do. It's tiny enough to be carried in a pants pocket (even if you prefer a tight style), yet it can produce image quality that some digital SLRs can't come close to.

Sony Xperia U Android phone

The Sony Xperia U has a compact design, good build quality and a functional user interface and is only let down by a lack of internal memory and an older version of Google's Android software.

Sony BDP-S790 3D Blu-ray player

The Sony BDP-S790 replaces the BDP-S780 in Sony’s Blu-ray player line-up. It’s the top model in a series of four players, and carries a $200 premium over the lesser BDP-S590.

Sony Internet Player with Google TV

Google TV has been around in the States since 2010, and Sony has released half a dozen products with the service built in. Sony VAIO E Series 14P (SVE14A16FG) 14in notebook

The Sony VAIO E Series 14P (SVE14A16FG) is a 14in laptop with a quad-core, third generation Intel Core i7 CPU, discrete graphics and plenty of storage. It's a relatively mobile machine that packs lots of power and features into its base, but it's a laptop that also feels a little bulky. It weighs 2.2kg and is 340mm wide and 33mm thick, so it's not exactly as desirable as a svelte Ultrabook, for example.

Sony VAIO L Series all-in-one 3D PC

The Sony VAIO L Series is the company’s only desktop PC. It’s a 24in all-in-one, with a Full HD screen that supports glasses-free 3D. A third-generation Intel Core i7 means plenty of grunt, and the VAIO L has a big hard drive and plenty of ports.

Sony Xperia P Android phone

Sony's mid-range Xperia P smartphones oozes class and style but is let down by average battery life, outdated Android software and below average ergonomics.
