Both Agora models offer a 2.5in touch screen and a QWERTY keyboard, as well as 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0 and a micro-SD slot. The Agora Pro adds a 2-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and integrated GPS.
Australian company Kogan has finally revealed images of the first Google Android phone to be released in Australia, the Kogan Agora. Until now only rendered mock-ups have been released. The Agora model shown is a pre-production model. The final production model will have a black bezel surrounding the LCD, rather than the silver one seen here.
Preinstalled software applications include Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Maps, Google Talk and a YouTube video player. The integrated Google Maps application supports detailed maps, satellite imagery, traffic and Street View.
The Agora will come in two models, the Agora ($299) and the Agora Pro ($399). The release date is still set for 29 January, but it is currently available for pre-order from Kogan.com.au .
