We found it at JB Hi-Fi for $494, which is a massive saving of $5 off retail. It's basically a compact camera with a huge range of manual controls that make it similar to a digital SLR in operation. Of course you can't change its lens like a D-SLR, but it comes with a versatile 5x zoom lens that's 28mm wide. You also get a huge 14.7-megapixel sensor. [[xref: http://www.digitalcamerawarehouse.com.au/prod5477.htm|Digital Camera Warehouse]] has the PowerShot G10 for $625, which is $124 cheaper than when we first reviewed it in December 2008.

Online purchasers will also receive $50 credit free!
