The phone provides a solid and smooth navigation experience thanks to a combination of good hardware and well designed software.     Price: $187 (Save: $12) TomTom's cheapest GPS (priced at an RRP of $199) ever has just hit the market — it's so new that we haven't even reviewed it yet! The START is an entry-level GPS with basic features, but it still includes TomTom's IQ Routes technology, an EasyPort mounting system and TomTom's latest map guarantee. The TomTom START also has spoken street names and is pre-installed with speed and red light camera alerts.     Price: $209 (Save: $170) It may not have as many megapixels as the majority of this year's cameras, but the 8-megapixel Canon IXUS 80, which has been around for18 months, is still very good value for money. Rest assured, for that price you're getting a solidly built small camera with all the fancy features you'll need for everyday use, such as image stabilisation and motion detection, but above all, its image quality is a cut above other cameras at this low price point.

    Price: $137 (Save: $82) The HP Photosmart C5380 remains one of our favourite multifunction printers for the family, and as time progresses it's only getting cheaper (originally it cost $219). That doesn't impact on its quality or features, however; it still prints great photos quickly, and can label your CDs and DVDs with ease.
