Network-attached storage devices are a great way to store all of your media, personal files and computer backups in one central location, but they can be expensive and a little hard to use. Because it uses nLite, it's not a true 802.11n router — it will only run at 150 megabits per second rather than 300Mbps, but it's compatible with 802.11n wireless devices. It has a failover function which can switch to a 3G connection if the wired connection breaks, which is very handy in a home office environment. Samsung's R580 is a desktop replacement laptop that's very well built, feels good to use, and is very fast as it uses a Core i5-520M CPU. You can use it for just about any task except serious gaming. Despite being so big, it's not overly heavy and you can carry it in a backpack without much trouble at all.
