Hundreds of die-hard Halo fans line up at 12am for Halo Reach launch

  • Hundreds of die-hard Halo fans lined up in Sydney last night for the official midnight launch of [[artnid:312431|Halo Reach]]. The event was held at [[xref:http://www.ebgames.com.au/|EB Games']] Westpoint Blacktown branch, which had received the highest number of Halo Reach pre-orders in the country.

    Attendees were treated to free pizzas, music, showbags and photos with Master Chief himself.

  • The crowd was surprisingly large for a midnight game launch, with hundreds of individuals lining up to bag a copy of the game.

  • Customers were given photographic momentos that placed them inside the Halo Reach universe.

  • In addition to Halo Reach, EB Games also showcased Microsoft's new Kinect add-on for the Xbox 360.

  • Free pizza was provided for the happy punters, courtesy of EB Games.

  • The music was properly pumping at the event, with an MC-cum-DJ building up the crowd's enthusiasm/hearing problems.
