The right side has a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports and a headphone/microphone combo port.
The keyboard has soft keys that are a pleasure to type on, especially at night thanks to their backlight. The backlight switches off automatically when the keyboard hasn't been tapped for around 20sec.
For security, the ProBook 5330m features a fingerprint reader on its palmrest and it comes with HP ProtectTools software pre-installed.
The three illuminated buttons above the keyboard are for toggling the 802.11n Wi-Fi module on and off (it's dual-band), launching the default Web browser and muting the volume.
The left side features a Kensington lock, VGA, eSATA/USB, HDMI and an SD card slot.
The screen has a native resolution of 1366x768 and it has good brightness. We like the matte finish.
This particular 13.3in business laptop has a Second Generation Intel Core i3 CPU in it, along with 4GB of DDR3 SDRAM and a 500GB hard drive. It uses integrated Intel HD graphics. The laptop's metal casing looks good and gives it a nice, strong feel.
