Apple's iPhone queue in Sydney is as long as ever

Sydneysiders queue for new iPhone 5s and 5c launch

  • Apple's announcement of the [[artnid:526095|iPhone 5s]] and [[artnid:526101|iPhone 5c]] may have created less hype than past Apple launches, but the company's products are still insanely popular among tech faithful. We're at the Apple Store in George St, Sydney and the queue for the new iPhones is as long as ever.

    This was the iPhone queue at 7am on the corner of George and King Streets, Sydney.

  • The queue started at the front of the Apple Store in George Street.

  • It then quickly wrapped around the corner into King Street.

  • The front of the Apple Store.

  • The first people in the queue at the front of the Apple Store.

  • The queue wrapped right around King Street, towards York Street.

  • The queue continued right down York Street.

  • It even crossed the road down on York Street.

  • One hour before the store officially opens its doors at 8am.

  • Across the road, there was also a queue in Telstra's flagship Sydney Store.

  • iPhone fans at Telstra were treated to warm blankets and free coffee.

  • Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah and Sydney Swans captain Adam Goodes were on hand at the Telstra Store to greet iPhone fans.
