    X-Men: Apocalypse


    X-Men: Apocalypse is the latest film on Blu-Ray. It is the sequel of the global super hit X-Men: Days of Future Past. Set in 1983, a mutant awakens to try and take over the Earth. A team of young X-Men try to stop their invincible nemesis and save mankind.

    Overall, it is considered a wild and entertaining movie with some super-heroic aspects. If you are up for a thriller movie, this is it!
  • The Infiltrator


    Based on an incredible true story, The Infiltrator is an engaging crime thriller.

    Robert Mazur (Bryan Cranston), a federal agent goes undercover to investigate the drug trafficking business headed by Colombian drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. He disguises himself as Bob Musella, a money-launderer, to gain the trust of Escobar's top lieutenant, Roberto Alcaino (Benjamin Bratt).

    The Infiltrator feels quite fresh, but since it is based on real life people/events, it’s a perfectly executed espionage thriller that is enjoyable
  • Ghostbusters


    Ghostbusters is the third film of the Ghostbusters film franchise. It was voted as the best movie of the summer, despite the negativity from some viewers.
    In the film, a group of paranormal investigators, armed with proton packs, track ghosts in New York City.

    Ghostbusters received a lot of hype this year grossing about $230 million in the box office worldwide.
  • Central Intelligence


    The Rock teams up with Kevin Hart in this action-packed comedy. The Rock (Bob Stone), a CIA agent needs expertise of Kevin Hart (Calvin - an accountant) to track down people who are trying to trade stolen satellite codes.

    The movie offers plenty of laughs and comedy as Hart and The Rock have such a wonderful chemistry. With such a combination, no wonder it is one of the best Blu-Rays.
  • Deadpool


    Deadpool is everything a reader of comic books would want. Unlike other superhero films, the entire movie is self-referential reminding the audience who the superhero is.
    Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), a mercenary, meets a wicked scientist Ajax (Ed Skrein) who tortures and transforms him into Deadpool. He sets on a revenge mission and with the help from Negasonic Teenage Warhead and Colossus, he uses his newly-acquired skills to track down the man who ruined his life.

    The movie is fantastic and funny. In fact, you will be thrilled by the funny jokes the first time you watch it.
  • The Legend of Tarzan


    There is a lot of buzz in The Legend of Tarzan especially for the main character. Seeing him swinging through the trees and displaying his signature roar earns the movie a spot on our Blue-Ray list.
  • The Jungle Book


    The Jungle Book is a Disney classic and this is the 'real-life' version.

    It features a story of a young boy, Mowgli, in the jungle where he is raised by wolves. A stunning tale ensues when he tries to rise above the tyranny of dangerous tiger, Shere Khan (Elba).

    The film displays a fantastic story from the beginning to the end and keeps you entertained throughout. In addition, the casting choices, imagery and everything are great. In the end, fans are left with one of the best Blu-Ray movies of last year.
  • Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice


    Those who watched the previous Batman vs Superman could describe it as an abomination. However, the Ultimate Edition of the film was released on Blu-ray with an additional 30 minutes that features more violence and a top rating.

    The extra 30 minutes adds some thriller aspect and fills the obvious holes from the previous version. There is a high chance that you will love the Ultimate Edition of this movie.
  • The Nice Guys


    Imagine making a cop comedy into a suspense movie. Sounds like a horrible combination especially since you have to deal with many tropes and get the right actors. The Nice Guys film has made it clear that the two can work wonders.

    Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe conduct an investigation of a missing girl and a porn star who are reported dead, but the aunt believes she’s still alive. It’s up to the two to figure out her whereabouts.

    The film is hilarious and fantastic such that you will remain on the edge of your seat until the end.

    The release of The Conjuring 2 must have been a thrill for scary movie lovers. The first release in the franchise was super good and the second one does that first film justice. In fact, it was a bit frightening at first but overall, it kept the viewer curious.

    Patrick and Vera play as a married couple who travel to England to visit a mother and her four children. Unknown to them, the home is experiencing some paranormal activity.

    Get ready for some thrilling and frightening action.
  • The Lobster


    The only reason why an absurdist movie based on a strange setting could say more about relationship than other films is because it is has a special storyline. That’s what makes The Lobster great.

    In the movie, single men and women have 45 days to find their perfect match or they will turn into animals.

    Overall, the theme of The Lobster is to show how humans form relationships in different circumstances. It is an incredibly beautiful movie.
  • Green Room


    A dramatic and intense thriller, Green Room was one of the most creative and incredible works of 2016.

    The film begins with an outstanding performance by the band called The Ain’t Rights. However, hell breaks loose when one of the band members goes back to retrieve a phone and witnesses a murder. They are held hostage as they fight for their lives.

    The entire cast crew delivers an unbelievable performance in one of the best horror films this year.
  • Fast Ball


    The word fast ball is familiar even to those with little knowledge of sports and baseball. A Fastball movie might seem trivial with the entire documentary set on a single pitch. The film's story brings out some interesting and enthralling events featuring some footage and interviews with players on what it takes to hit and throw a ball.

    Fastball is another thrilling documentary that every fan who loves the pitch would relate to. Well, you may not be a die-hard fan of sports, but the attention that Fastball commands is enough to make you watch the movie anyway.
  • Born To Be Blue


    Though not a 100 percent historical, it tells a story that is enthralling.

    In the film, Ethan Hawke plays as Chet Baker and he is asked to star in a movie about his life. Unfortunately, his musical career is affected when he is attacked and he must come up with a plan to get back into the music scene again.

    The movie has different and great elements since it has the historical and biographical aspect. It also tests the strength of humans when faced with difficult situations in life.
  • Me Before You


    The story behind the film is based on Jojo Moyes’ novel published in 2012.

    The movie features a caregiver Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke), and Will Traynor (Sam Claflin), a paralyzed young man. She offers to care of Will and tries to cheer him up. I don’t want to spoil the fun, there is more to that as you watch the movie.

    It appears that the fans of the movie liked the book series and enjoyed the romantic genre in it. It’s worth checking out.
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles


    A sequel to the 2014 movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is an incredible movie. Shredder is serving his time in prison but escapes following the intervention of the Foot clan. The turtles must battle Shredder and deal with the Alien in hand.
