Top rated cameras: February 2012

Our top rated cameras for February 2012

Interchangable compact cameras rule the roost this month. The new entry is the Olympus PEN E-PM1 Mini, which is a smaller-than-usual Micro Four Thirds camera that should appeal to anyone who wants a compact, yet advanced camera capable of accepting different lenses.

Look for more digital SLRs to come into play over the next few months as both Nikon and Canon have released successors to their highly successful D700 and EOS 5D Mark II models, respecitvely. Nikon has released its D800 while Canon has come up with the 5D Mark III. Both of these are full frame cameras that are aimed at enthusiasts and semi-pros.
