The best laptops that can also be used as tablets

Here are the best laptops that also work well as tablet devices

Laptop makers have come up with many different designs to take advantage of the touch generation, and also Windows 8's Modern UI interface. There isn't one standard 2-in-1 design on the market. Instead, there is a variety of implementations that allow some laptops to be turned into tablets, some being better than others.

In this list, we're including only products that are laptops first and foremost, but which can also be turned into tablets. We're not including tablet-first products, such as those with a detachable keyboard base, but instead dedicated laptops that have special hinges to allow them to transform.

The products you see below all have innovations that allow the screen to flip, swivel, or tilt all the way around the base in order to create a slate form factor so that you can easily use them as a tablet.
