Available in two models — wood grain or high-gloss piano white — the Heritage is a digital radio device that resembles a 1958 traditional high-end radio, according to the company.

The speaker sits on top of a frequency spectrum and two dials for volume and tuning. An LCD screen is situated between the two dials.

Other design features of the digital radio include a starburst LCD screen, and a metal grille with real wood enclosure.

The Heritage device contains two 10-watt stereo sound speakers and comes with a remote control. It runs on AC power.

In addition to digital radio using the DAB+ standard, the Bush Heritage comes with Bluetooth wireless audio streaming as a standard feature. It can also broadcast non-digital FM frequencies.

Both variations of the new Bush Heritage digital radio (HERITAGE and HERITAGEW) will be available in July for an RRP of $249.

The device will be sold through Australian retail outlets Big W, David Jones, Harvey Norman, The Good Guys, Retravision and Dick Smith.
