CES 2018: Jabra Announces Third-Gen of True Wireless Earbuds

Jabra has announced the expansion of its Elite Sport true wireless earbuds into a franchise of new products, due out later this year.

“By introducing the Elite franchise, we have demonstrated to headphone users that we understand their needs and that we are fully committed to providing the best voice and music headphone solutions. Our new Elite franchise accommodates three levels of technology in sound, microphone and voice interaction capabilities, different endurance levels, and both true wireless earbud and neckband solutions,” said Jabra CEO René Svendsen-Tune.
“With the Elite family, we now offer headsets for every choice of wearing style, use case and price point.”
Credit: Jabra The clearest successors to the Elite Sport come in the form of the new Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t earbuds. The 65t includes one-touch access to Siri, and Google Now and Amazon Alexa on-the-go and touts up to 15 hours of battery life (five hours per charge, with two full recharges held by the case).
The Elite Active 65t offers up the same 15 hour battery life but tilts the experience towards a more fitness-focused outcome. The new earbuds feature enhanced grip, through special coating, an integrated accelerometer for tracking features and comprehensive IP56 sweat, water and dust certification.
Credit: Jabra Last but not least - Jabra say the new Elite 45e comes engineered to deliver the best voice and music experience for users who want high audio quality without compromising on design and form-factor. The company say the company’s soft neck-band features a unique box microphone solution that delivers the clearest voice communication on any stereo wireless headphone.
The Jabra Elite 65t will be available in Australia and New Zealand from March. Meanwhile, the Jabra Elite Active 45e and Jabra Elite Active 65t will be available in Australia and New Zealand in mid-2018.
