Microsoft launches Dynamics 365 Business Central

Microsoft is launching Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in Australia and New Zealand.

“New Zealand SMBs are actively looking at expanding their business functionality to cater for the growing demands of their customers,” said Francois Van Splunder, Business Applications Marketing Lead New Zealand.

“They recognise the value that business software can have in terms of making them more efficient and responsive to customer needs. Business Central has been designed specifically for these organisations, so they can focus on their core customers and core business.”

“This is a cloud-based solution that can grow with the business. It offers end-to-end functionality – and a far more comprehensive suite of capabilities than many of the entry level accounting systems. Business Central is highly intuitive, cost effective, and it integrates neatly with other business solutions such as Office 365 and Power BI to provide end to end business transformation opportunity,” added Splunder.

Business Central is a cloud based solution designed specifically for small to medium businesses to help them manage finances, operations, sales and customer service. It serves as an easy upgrade opportunity for businesses which have outgrown their entry level accounting systems and legacy ERP, according to Microsoft.

The solution, which integrates with other Microsoft cloud services, simplifies day to day business functions and can be customised where required using PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and Power BI.

“New Zealand SMBs are recognising that better use of technology, integration and efficiency will play a significant role in growing their business over the next year or two. That’s precisely what Dynamics 365 Business Central has been designed for – to prime business for success and growth,” according to Francois Van Splunder.
