Navman Introduces Drive Duo 2

Navman has introduced the Drive Duo 2, a GPS with a HD Dash Cam built-in.

The GPS has a 5” screen and features Advanced Driver Systems safety features such as Front Collision Warning and Lane Departure Alerts.

Premium Driver Alerts give users forewarnings about merging lanes, give ways and sharp corners. The GPS also uses Live Traffic to formulate routes, and uses Landmark Guidance to help orientate users.

“The Drive Duo 2 gives you the reassurance of a high quality dash cam that records clearly and accurately all the details you need if anything should go wrong, plus the smarts of all the top-end GPS features to keep you safer – it might even save you from unnecessary fines, ” said Wendy Hammond, General Manager, Navman Australia and New Zealand.

“One of my favourite features is the convenience of Bluetooth Hands-Free so you can answer your phone safely without breaking the law – provided you hold an unrestricted licence.”

“These days it’s more important than ever to have a good quality dash cam because if an incident occurs, the other party may be able to present stronger evidence than you can.  Why should you have to pay our your excess for something that wasn’t your fault? Not all dash cams are created equal and the quality of the camera is critical. With Navman’s Drive Duo 2, you know you are getting uncompromised quality for the best chance to prove your side of the story,” she added.

The Navman Drive Duo 2 camera features a 130 degree wide angle lens and a 3-Axis G sensor to show where any impact came from. Optimised Day and Night Recording helps to provide clear recording in bad light conditions. The Drive Duo 2 is Dual Channel capable, so users have the option to add a back dash cam.

The Drive Duo 2 is available for $279 with a one year warranty.
