The Nokia N97 mini is a slightly smaller version of the regular N97 and features a part stainless steel body. It retains most of the original N97's design points, including a tilting touch-screen display, though the screen is slightly smaller at 3.2in and internal memory is reduced to 8GB.

The N97 mini has an upgraded Symbian operating system, which will also be available as a software update for regular N97 owners. Improvements include new home screen widgets and a tweaked scrolling system.
