Video game publisher holds its premiere media event in Sydney
EA used the end of 2012 as an opportunity to host its first ever Asia Showcase. Members from the media both locally and from overseas (New Zealand, South Africa, Malaysia, Taiwan, Japan and Hong Kong) were invited to check out a selection of games slated for release in 2013. Games that were playable on the show floor included SimCity, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, Fuse and Army Of Two: The Devils Cartel. Three producer, Jason Haber (SimCity), Mike Read (Crysis 3) and Brian Allgeier (Fuse), also made the trip down to Sydney to present at the Showcase and talk about their respective titles. PC World was at the event to cover both the keynotes as well as conduct individual interviews: [[artnid:444542|EA Showcase 2012: SimCity returns with multi-city play]] [[artnid:444763|SimCity interview: Maxis producer, Jason Haber]] [[artnid:444625|EA Showcase 2012: Insomniac focuses on co-op with Fuse]] [[artnid:445006|Fuse interview: Insomniac Games creative director, Brian Allgeier]] [[artnid:445266|EA Showcase 2012: Crytek brings Prophet, Seven Wonders to Crysis 3]] [[artnid:445283|Crysis 3 interview: Crytek producer, Michael Elliot Read]]
