UMAX, distributed in Australia by Computer Enterprises, has confirmed the latest range of UMAX PCs and workstations, plus a new notebook.
The UmaxPC range includes the PC2100, PC3000 and PC 61000, as well as the WS9000 single- and dual-processor server and graphic workstations.

The new notebook is the ActionBook 530T. It has an Intel 233MHz Pentium CPU, and a removable 24x CD-ROM drive which is exchangable with the floppy drive. The notebook weighs 2.9kg and is 39mm thick. The display is 13.3in with a resolution of 1024 x 768 in 64K colours. Each of the two Li ion batteries gives approximately two hours of use, according to UMAX. RRP $5854.
