Banksia MyModem56V modem

Banksia has added to its MyModem range with the MyModem56V from Sirius Technologies.

It is designed for small businesses requiring "a complete, ultra-reliable communications solution", and features dual-mode V.90/K56flex support.

The modem comes with a CD of software, including Microsoft IE4, Pronto Mail Pro e-mail, Internet Phone, Internet Wave, and a trial version of Hot Dog for Web site design. There is also fax software and Thunderbyte antivirus, Winzip for file compression, and Millenium Bug Toolkit to check Year 2000 compliance.

Future enhancements to the V.90 standard can be flash upgraded from the Banksia Web site at http://www.banksia.com.auThe Banksia MyModem56V has a RRP of $289.
