Melbourne will become the first capital city on the east coast with permanent DAB+ digital radio services on 11 May.
MIX, GOLD, SEN, 3AW, 3MP, FOX, MAGIC, TRIPLE M, NOVA, VEGA, Sport 927, Radar, Pink Radio, Koffee and NovaNation are taking part in the switch-on, with the ABC and SBS expected to commence permanent digital radio services throughout June and July.
The Melbourne launch follows Australia's first DAB+ digital radio broadcasts in Perth, with three more capital cities to come.
