Halo Reach will be Bungie's last Halo game

"After Reach that's it for us"

In an interview with IGN UK, Bungie's Lars Bakken confirmed that the team will be not be making any more Halo video games after the next two upcoming titles, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. Bakken reveals that Halo: Reach will be the last Halo game from them, and he also mentions that Bungie is already working on a brand new video game franchise.

"After Reach that's it for us. We're already working on a new IP that we can't talk about yet, I don't know when we'll be talking about it - when we're ready I suppose." -Lars Bakken
