Australian Internet Service Provider Internode has launched a new Naked ADSL plan that provides 50GB of data and $10 of VoIP calls for $69.95 a month.
Dubbed the 'Easy Naked' ADSL plan, the 50GB quota is anytime, meaning there is no on or off peak periods. The new Easy Naked plan is offered as a companion to Internode’s 'Easy Broadband' plan. The Easy Naked plan eliminates the need for a home phone line, which can save customers on line rental fees, often this can be a a saving of more than $20 per month.
"A significant number of customers are ready to ditch the old dial tone, so Easy Naked addresses their needs in the same way that Easy Broadband works for customers who still want their traditional phone service," said Internode product manager Jim Kellett.
The Internode Easy Naked plan offers the standard unmetered 'cool content' such as games servers and Internet radio as well as five email addresses and 50MB of personal Web space.
One disadvantage of switching to a 'naked' plan is that the data uploads are counted towards your download quota.
