Australian online retailer Kogan has drawn the covers off a new set of LED TVs in its online store. The models released include what Kogan calls "Australia's cheapest LED TV" — a 16in TV with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels, with a price tag of only $159. This is significantly cheaper than other LED TVs on the market from leading brands Samsung and Sony, the cheapest of which is a 22in Samsung Series 4 LED TV with a retail price of $649.

All of Kogan's new TVs include USB ports that can record digital TV when a USB flash drive is connected. Kogan also announced the availability of what it has called "Australia's only LED TV with built-in Blu-ray", a $749 32in panel. The first LED TV on the market with a built-in Blu-ray player was the Sharp LC40LB700X, which has recently been discontinued but is still available in some stores. The prices of Kogan new TVs include free shipping around Australia.
