There has been wide speculation on what Apple's next iteration of its tablet will look like, feature and be named. Network World editor John Cox even is able to write a weekly story on the wild rumors surrounding the next iPad.
While nobody outside of Apple really knows what is going to happen on Wednesday at the unveiling, there is a quiet murmur as to what will become of the other vendors. Every time a new tablet comes out from someone like Samsung or Amazon, the call goes out that this will be the tablet to take down the iPad. But then another version of the iPad comes out and the contenders fall to the background.
Despite not having seen the new Apple tablet, customers are already lining up to sell off that old, dated iPad 2. Ebay reported that 98% of all tablets being sold on its auction site were iPad 2s.There is speculation that the price of the iPad 3 will be the same as the iPad 2. But like we said, who knows?
