EB Games Expo was held once again at Sydney's Olympic Park, bringing video game vendors, publishers and developers together under one roof.

This year marked the debut of the Sony PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Xbox One, with playable games for both systems available to attendees on the show floor.

The Nintendo Wii U made a repeat showing following its launch last year, as well as new software for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Highlights from this year's event included Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Ghosts, and Batman: Arkham Origins.
