Two motorcycling teens have landed themselves in court after Victorian Police found footage recorded with a GoPro camera on Facebook.
Initially the two teens — a 19 year old man and a 17 year old boy — were issued fines on the spot for riding and crashing unregistered motorbikes on 25 March.
The fines were later rescinded and search warrants were executed when Police came across the duo’s GoPro footage on Facebook.
Victorian Police would not disclose to Good Gear Guide the contents of the footage “because the matter is going to be before the courts and charges are expected to be laid”.
Senior sergeant Dan Hilton described the behaviour as reckless. “The behaviour recorded appears reckless in the extreme to the extent to which it placed themselves and other road users at risk."
The two teens are expected to be charged with “conduct endangering a person and other traffic-related offences” when summoned before the court.
