Apple is expected to announce new versions of its Mac computers and notebooks come 16 October, but the device that has people waiting with bated breath is the follow up to the company’s iPad Air.
The revamped iPad will have stiff competition from Google, if a Forbes report pans out. Word has it Google will finally take the wraps off its Nexus 9 tablet and Nexus 6 smartphone tomorrow morning, at about the same Apple will unveil the iPad Air 2.
Google isn’t holding a launch event, with the tech giant predicted to turn to its blog for the announcement.
Apple is hosting an event at the Town Hall auditorium located on its campus in California. The best part: Apple is streaming the event live, which means you’ll be able to watch the announcement as it happens.
Fans who cannot get up at 4am can keep tabs on the Good Gear Guide site, which will be covering the event extensively as it happens, along with recaps of the new products.
For those who do make the effort to get up, share your thoughts with us on Twitter: [[xref:https://twitter.com/GoodGearGuide @goodgearguide]]. We look forward to hearing from you.
