Kingston-owned gaming accessory brand HyperX have announced a new top-end entry in their Alloy range of mechanical keyboards designed for gaming.
Branded as the Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, the new keyboard features a and solid-steel frame, Cherry MX mechanical switches, more dynamic lighting effects, N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting.
“Further raising the bar for personalisation and comfort, HyperX has kitted the Alloy Elite Keyboard out with Cherry MX mechanical switches, detachable palm rest and custom lighting features. These customisation options can be accessed without the assistance of software, so HyperX can ensure that gamers connect and play immediately,” the company says.
In essence, the pitch here is that it's a bigger and better version of what they’ve done before - available at a price that's a little higher than usual. It's envisioned as 'the next step up' from the Alloy FPS.
According to Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo, CSGO team leader for SK Gaming, “every keypress on our HyperX Mechanical Gaming Keyboards delivers the perfect amount of tension and release to keep our fingers firing off rapid actions. HyperX keyboards have that extra level of comfort, style and convenience to take our gaming performance the next level.”
The HyperX Alloy Elite Gaming Keyboard keyboard will come in Cherry MX blue, red and brown switch versions and will be available through HyperX’s network of retail and e-tail outlets starting from this week at a recommended retail price of AUD $149.
To celebrate the launch, online technology retailer PC Case Gear will also be giving away a free $20 Steam card to the first customers* to purchase the Alloy Elite Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, in Blue and Red Cherry Switch options, via their online store.
