Jaybird have bolstered their range ahead of the holiday season by announcing their first true wireless sports earbuds, called the Jaybird RUN.
“Jaybird RUN is inspired by our athletes, and tested and built with the runner in mind who listens to music or podcasts and wants to feel as free as possible,” said Jeff Taylor, Jaybird Athlete and Partnership manager.
The Jaybird RUN boasts a one-button control scheme, IP6 sweat-proofing, water-resistant nano-coating and 4 hours of battery life per charge. The wireless earbuds come with a quick-charging carry case that can hold another 8 hours of use and set of customizable ear-tips. Jaybird say that just 5 minutes of charging will give users an hour of listening time.
“Being runners ourselves, we understand how bulky headphones can get in the way. The Jaybird RUN compact form factor fits securely and delivers music without a single wire. We’ve perfected the Jaybird RUN experience, so you’ll forget you’re wearing them, and we’re excited to share them with runners everywhere”, Taylor says.
The Jaybird RUN earbuds can be worn together or in a single earbud configuration. They’re fully compatible with both Google Assistant, Siri and Jaybirds own app. Connecting with the latter will allow you to customize your ‘Sound Signature’, share playlists with other runners and also help find your earbuds should you lose them via a dedicated tracking feature.
The Jaybird RUN sports earbuds will be available from September 25th through Jaybird themselves and select retailers like JB Hi-Fi.
They come with a recommended retail price of AUD $249 and are available in two colors: ‘Drift’ white and ‘Jet’ black.
