HMD Global have announced a temporary cut to the asking price for last year's flagship Nokia 8 smartphone.
The promotion will see the Nokia 8 retail for $599 rather than the usual $899 - a discount of about 30%.
HMD say that The Nokia 8 will be available at the discounted rate via Harvey Norman (both in-store and online) until the 25th of February and at JB HiFi until the 21st of February (again, both in-store and online).
In our review of the phone last year, we said "It’s easy to imagine an alternate reality where another, lesser, version of this device coasts along on the novelty of the Nokia brand. However, that’s not the case with the Nokia 8 that HMD have brought to market. There’s so much more to like about the Nokia 8 than just the mere nostalgia factor behind it."
It also scored recognition in our 2017 Editors' Choice Awards as our Best Smartphone Under $900
